NAP is a network of drug users and community members who formed to fight against the Northern Territory Government’s drug house legislation and other attacks on the human rights of illicit drug users in the Northern Territory. NAP is open to all drug users and anyone who feels that we must end the war on drugs. NAP conduct a range of protest activities to ensure that the community is aware
of the harm caused to the community by drug prohibition. NAP volunteers can help you with health and legal information as well as provide after hours access to injecting equipment.
- NAP aims to:
Use non-violent direct action to bring an end to the war on drugs,
- Increase community awareness of the impact of prohibition on the health of drug users, and
- Involve drug users, their families and other community members in the ongoing work of NAP.
