- Producing health education and promotion resources on BBVs and drug-related health issues
- Peer Education: safer injecting, general harm reduction,
- Advocacy for individuals experiencing discrimination, poor access to services etc.
- Policy advice to government on drug-related issues
- Contributing to public discussion and understanding of drug use issues and minimising drug-related harms in the community
- Working with researchers to build body of evidence for better policy and practices
- Working with community groups, service agencies and local government to formulate local and regional responses to drug-related harms and health promotion
- Providing training and advice to health and human service workers to enhance their capacity to meet the needs of drug users;
- Helping to harness and develop capacity within drug user communities to advance health
- Working with other peer-based drug user organisations in Australia and overseas to develop best-practice in peer education and harm reduction policies and practices
